Frederick Charatan opened a tobacco store on London's Mansell Street in 1863, marking the beginning of the Charatan tale. There are numerous tales to share, ranging from the Charatan family's involvement up to 1960 to the upscale, well-liked cigars made by London-based Dunhill Tobacco in the 1990s. Tor Imports is giving Charatan a new appearance that blends mythology and tradition with a promising future for the brand as we approach the Roaring Twenties. Grown in the natural shadow of Ecuadorian skies, the Charatan Colorado has a Habano seed wrapper and a sensuous, naturally oily reddish-brown leaf. This mix produces a well-balanced flavour with notes of cedar and spice when combined with a Nicaraguan binder and fillers.
